For almost two decades, Luke Miller has designed evocative and functional pieces of furniture that celebrate the beauty and fluidity of geometric shapes and linear curves. Luke's superior craftsmanship, meticulous detail and unparalleled artistic vision stem from intensive schooling and several years studying under master furniture makers. After a three-year apprenticeship in the mid-90s with Martin Patterson at The Furniture Workshop, Luke attended Chilterns University, where he received a BAHons degree in furniture design and craftsmanship. During this time, Luke honed his own style and began experimenting with materials other than wood.
Luke has received numerous awards, including Triton Woodworker of the Year, a silver medal in the National Skillbuild competition and for design in the international market place at the London-based New Designers exhibition.
He currently works from his studio in Buckinghamshire, England.
