David has been master woodworker for over 38 years - a trained bespoke artisan who specializes in crafting furniture, sculptural objects and art pieces.
His work has been shown at the Smithsonian Institute, the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, and the Art Institute of Chicago and been featured in The New York Times, Art & Antiques, House & Garden and Art + Auction.
Through the last three decades, he has become an integral part of the "studio craft" furniture movement creating the "antiques of tomorrow" and garnering high praises and comparisons to other renown greats like Sam Maloof, George Nakashima and Wharton Esherick.
David found his passion for woodworking while studying under the tutelage of artist Wendell Castle at the prestigious School for American Craftsmen at the Rochester Institute of Technology in upstate New York. He then went onto advanced studies at the London School of Furniture Design.
David continues to design from his home studio in Bellport, New York USA.
