Genevieve Bennett is an award-winning textile designer renowned for her exquisitely embossed, engraved, inlaid and sculpted leather wall panels and coverings. Inspired by historic Spitalfields' silk patterns, 17th century woodcarvings, advanced paper engineering techniques and Elizabethan armor, Genevieve's customized pieces allow texture and pattern to complement and enhance any interior.
The London-based designer employs a variety of cutting-edge technology, including three-dimensional paper models and digitally rendered drawings, to produce each of her bespoke pieces. Designs can be tailored according to customers specifications for color, size and scale.
A graduate of London's Royal College of Art, Genevieve studied mixed media and printed textiles. Upon graduation, she designed textiles and home accessories for Habitat, Tom Dixon, Heals and Wedgwood. In 2006, her "Genevieve" bed linen for Habitat won the Elle Decoration Best In Bedroom award; her 2007 "Watercolour" collection also was nominated. In 2011, Genevieve's designs were nominated for Interior Design magazine's Best Of Year Awards.
Her pieces are regularly featured in premiere shelter and luxury publications, Financial Times, House and Garden, Elle Decoration, Icon and Interior Design magazine.
Genevieve lives and works from her studio in London, England.
